Invasion of the nerds ♥

So today at college was halloween. All classes were assigned to dress up as something together, our class chose to be nerds! Almost everyone was dressed up, it was so awesome! We even played the part of being a complete geek, it was hilarious! Some would trip, others would pick their noses. It was a super good day : D We even won 2nd place and got 100$ to go out at a field trip or a restaurant. Mid-way during the day most of us were extremely tired for laughing so much and making fun of each other. I really love my classmates! ♥ they totally made my week! Apparently, I was a "cute" nerd, which was sort of true with my tiny poneytails and my little bow on my neck. Anyways, it was a really good halloween, most likely the best (:

Unfortunately I have a lot of work due next week, which one of them is a presentation... ewwww. I hate those. Maybe I won't be so awkward because my classmates are all very good friends. We'll see! <: Anyhow, I'm gonna go enjoy some Friends dvd and get comfy on my bed c:

Friends! Friends! Friends! ≈

So if you don't know me you should know that I love watching Friends (the show). It's the best thing in the world. I watch my DvDs of it EVERY day. It's the best thing since toilet paper. Anyways, I will attempt posting some of my art once I get the chance (and get more). At college we just finished a project, we had to draw lines that represents a title. The titles were quite specific, I got "A conversation between a strict Dad and his timid daughter". All the titles were: "The blues", "Empty Stomach", "A mosquito in a tent" and "a Clock". It was actually really difficult because swirly lines are hard to do, you can't make a perfect looping line (unless you got major skills). All in all it was an interesting project. Although I really prefer the one we did with circles, it was easier to represent a subject.

Also, yesterday I tried digital painting again. I had a nice conversation with Natty and she suggested I tried painting a ball for starters on photoshop. It went well, I just need to raise my contrast a little more, I tend to keep things light. I also learned I shouldn't paint too quickly because I'm not as skilled yet to do it fast. (that's what she said!)

Anyways, practice makes perfect!

A little bit of this and that ۰•●

So I'm at school college, writing on a french keyboard, lol. Since I'm here I might as well post a few projects that were given to us on photoshop and Illustrator;
So basically this is an image of a woman we had to fix (forgive my shitty cropping skills). It was really fun and I learned a lot using the healing tool and the stamp tool on photoshop. I didn't get my note on this yet so we'll just have to wait and see how I did! C: I also have one on illustrator but it's not as interesting. we had to draw squares and such. Very simple yet hard at first. I'm not sure how to post it since it does not have a "jpeg" option. Also, whaaaat the shat, there's a racoon in my backyard on top of a tree! Even greater, there are two of them! one is on another tree, chillin'. so random.

yay! first post!

yay for my first post! I don't exactly know what to write on the site but I'll mostly just post whatever crap comes in mind : D

I just finished photoshopping a picture of myself, here it is;

Also, I just dyed my hair (again... ahhahaha... my hair is going to blow up very soon). I wanted to go lighter so I asked a few friends on box dye tips. I basically had to bleach it twice, then put the desired color. I swear, when i first bleached it, my roots were epically bright and the rest was a color similar to the lead singer of Paramore. No joke. It was quite scary. I was panicking sooo much. The end result was a success though : D which is great. It's very similar to Yui's color from K-ON! C: I LOVE IT. I used to have the same thing long ago.. I regret dyeing it darker..

So, the other night I went to Boo at the Zoo at magnetic hill despite the shitty rain. In fact, the rain sort of added a creepy effect, perfect for the setting. I loved it! I didn't exactly dress-up, I mostly just put my koopa-shell backpack on and VOILA. A COSTUME. We went to a few different hunted houses, which were all really well done and quite spooky. What scared me the most was when someone would come chasing you or follow you.. I swear that got to me a few times. My favorite part, by far, was this area where we were in a kitchen and some zombie guy was eating flesh from the top of the fridge, then suddenly the lights turned on and off and then came a crap load of zombies invading your personal bubble. like, literally. I could not stop laughing when Natty scream "DOES ANYONE HAVE A SHOTGUN???". It was quite scary. I was so prepared to drop-kick them all.

The funny part of the night was when we decided to go for some hot chocolate at tim hortons in costume. Jan was all dead scene princess-looking and Gaby was a cute cat. I swear, I saw some guys sitting down looking over with a weird glare when I walked in. So funny. I didn't bring my koopa to avoid the looks and Natty didn't bring her Darth Vader mask she brought as a 'costume' lol.
